A wonderful quote.
So many people said that , or something alike, over the years so that I can't say for sure who it was.
But........ it sounds like chinese philosophy.
Confucius?

I like it as well, because it's simply true. :)

But sorry, it's not Confucius. The person is from Russia.

Unfortunately I have to disappoint you, Mirela. Though I know what you mean. I beg sensitive men's pardon, as I know you exist!

He also wrote several acclaimed novels.

First I thought of Tolstoi because of his work "War and Peace".
But then I thought of  Catherine the Great. I think  I wanted  her to be the person who said that.

Tolstoy is right, Schuyler. :)  @Mirela: That was pretty close.

Yay! Gotta love Tolstoy. :uppy: Okay, does anybody know this one?

You are tiny. I can see the whole of time and space, every single atom of your existence, and I divide them.

This quote is by lovely Rose from the Dr Who episode "The Parting of the Ways".

Good boy, K9  !

Now let me have a think.. who said: "Me in a dress is a once in a lifetime opportunity" .

Hint: it is a quote from a fictional TV character.

PS: Schuyler, are you a Dr Who fan, too?

Sure am! ^^ I've only been watching the show for about ... a little less than two months, but I fell in love almost immediately. Favorite doctor is Ten, followed closely by Twelve, Four, and Five. You don't want to get me started talking about Doctor Who stuff because I will go on forever. :P

Hmm, I don't recognize that quote, although it does sound a little familiar ... I've probably heard something similar but not the same thing you're thinking of.

Fantastic! I am a massive Dr Who fan, but have only started watching it after I moved to England. Dr Who only started to become popular in Germany over the last 5-7 years. My first Doctor was number 9. I don't think I could even give you a top 3 of my favourites. I am a big fan of Three, Four, Seven, Eight, Ten, Eleven and Twelve. But to be honest, each and every one of them is special and brilliant in their own way. Even Six... did I say that out loud  ? Like you, I could talk Dr Who for hours on end but I don't think the non-Whovians would appreciate it if we spammed this thread!

As for the quote, it's from a TV series that is set in space.

A space themed TV series and I don't recognize the quote ... must be Battlestar Galactica or otherwise something rather obscure that I've not watched yet.
You're never too old to learn something stupid.
