Crow? As in the film The Crow? Or as in the film "The Raven" (loosely based on Poe's life). Or am I completely off the track?

Ooooooh  , really spooky that one! We used to watch it in school when they tried to teach us not to frighten the humans around us. It's a kind of educational films for our kind called "The Birds" by Hitchcock, isn't it? (It's a long time this duck hasn't seen it...)

Love,
Duckduck

Now for one of my favourites: A woman in her thirties lives in London in a nice but untidy flat. She hears a male voice talking to her when she is alone.

EDIT: OOOPS! Didn't notice that there was a second page already and tiorthan already solved the riddle. Anyway, as I left you with a new film, I'll just leave the post as it was.

So far we haven't got confirmation about whether or not the hint actually refers to the film "The Birds".  :wink1:

That's right, Keswick ... but can it be wrong?

Oh hang on !!

Necip edited his original post from "The Crow" to
Raven. A lot of ravens.

Hint: It's an old black white movie. The habit of the director is to play a little sequence of some seconds in his films.
hence my reply:
Crow? As in the film The Crow? Or as in the film "The Raven" (loosely based on Poe's life). Or am I completely off the track?
Well in this case, I dare say "The Birds" is correct for this one.

Necip, stop confusing an old woman!

My apologies, and tiorthan, or Duckduck, it's your turn.

The Duck has taken the liberty of giving the first hint to a new film already...
Sorry, tiorthan, you can be next, OK?!

Ehm.. is it "Being John Malcovich"? Admittedly I have only seen this once and I am not sure whether the protagonist is female.

Nope! Here's the next hint:
She is very sad because she has lost her lover. He died some months ago and she can't come to terms with the loss. :(

No, sorry, Keswick. It's all happening in London! :jo:
She works in a translation agency and gives English lessons to a young, pregnant woman from South America. Everybody likes her a lot but she shuts herself off and can't stop mourning. Even her therapist can't help her.

No, I'm not sure you would call it famous, but there were some pretty well-known actors in it. My favourite Alan Rickman and Juliet Stevenson.
It was called '"Sam" for intellectuals' in one review and was directed by Anthony Minghella. The title is: Truly Madly Deeply.
Very nice film, I think. :jo:

Ok, let's try this: Two financially challenged musicians get in trouble with the mob and dress up as women.
