I hope you don't mind me asking but whereabouts are you/were your family from? USA/UK/Australia/Canada/other?

@Keswick: No worries. I was born in Philadelphia, USA. My family are Irish-American. I also lived in Ireland (Dublin) for a number of years. (And I've lived all over Germany...)
