Hi,
I'm looking for German reading material to improve my German. I read Die Zeit online sometimes but it's too advanced.
Can someone recommend some more basic reading material.
Thanks in advance.

Re: German Reading Material
Keswick's suggestion is an excellent one. Occasionally I'll also read spiegel.de, the free Web resource from the (otherwise very expensive in the US) Der Spiegel.
If you are looking to improve your auditory comprehension as well, there's the news program Tagesschau (http://www.tagesschau.de free resources) - it also holds my attention, because it focuses on different issues from the domestic news here.
One more resource: if you have a tablet or smartphone with Wi-Fi or a flatrate plan, you could get the "TuneIn" app, which lets you browse radio stations by area and topic. This gives you a lengthy list of German stations. At first you won't understand much, but you'll pick up words and expressions here and there, and as time passes, you'll understand more and more. It will also help your pronunciation.
Good luck!
