I am very new here! :)

Hello! I am Maria, 32 :wink2:

I am new here :) and must say sorry, because my English is not good.. I am russian and habe been living in Germany for 7 years. I speak German very well, but I've already forgotten my English..

A little bit about me:

I come from Russia (Moscow) and I studied economics and then worked in Russia. 3 years later I moved to Germany, learned German und then studied singing - I'm an opera singer and a voice teacher. The Queen of the Night from Mozart's "The magic Flute" is my role :)

I have many interests, but not so much time .. And I would like to speak English, but I have no opportunity.. And I am so happy I've found this forum!!! :jump1:

It would be great to find a native English speaker here or someone, who wants to write with me :)

Thank you!

Your English is not bad, you just made a few small mistakes
which is normal when you're not using it very often.

Oh, thank you so much! I didn't even notice the mistakes!

Yes, I speak and write only German now and I am really confused - and so I do not understand (realize), if I speak German or English.. These two languages are so similar to me.. Maybe because I am not a native German speaker. And the word order.. I see I also have big problems now..

Thank you! :spin:

Yes, I speak and write only German now, and I am really confused sometimes.
Therefore, I do not always realise, if I speak German or English.
These two languages are so similar to me.
Maybe because I am not a native German speaker.
I see now that I also have big problems with the word order.

Thank you! :spin:
May I suggest to immerse yourself in English media

Dear Delfino,

Thank you soooooo much for these wonderful links about music !

I've watched the interview with Maria Callas - it was so great to hear this fantastic singer again! I've also read about how to learn to play piano! It seems to be very interesting and helpful too! It's really a good way for me to learn this language!
