Brauche noch Hilfe in mixed Grammar. Habe ich es so richtig formuliert?


Martin has been used his computer and the printer a lot during the last six month and he has been being really fed up with the printer by now.
It always was causing problems.
Last month his uncle was repairing the printer for him while Martin was waching but this time Martin tries do it himself.
It has been raining since yesterday and he has had a lot of time but he ( not, finish) yet. ???
He is very angry because he has been saveing for a new mobile phone for five months and he doesn't want spend (didn´t want spend) the money on a new printer.

Der letzte Teil enthält das Wort "now" und damit ist klar, dass hier der aktuelle Zustand beschrieben wird.

It is always causing problems.

Auch hier wird ein aktueller Zustand beschrieben. Das Continuous ist richtig, weil es sich um einen möglicherweise vorübergehenden Zustand handelt, der jetzt gerade anhält. Das Adverb steht hinter dem finiten Verb.

Last month his uncle repaired the printer for him while Martin was watching but this time Martin tries to do it himself.

Wenn zwei Handlungen gleichzeitig geschehen, dann steht die länger andauernde Handlung (die bei der das while steht in der Regel) im Continuous, die andere jedoch nicht.
"tries do" ist keine grammatische Form. Nach try muss ein Substantiv folgen oder etwas, das einem Substantiv funktionell gleichwertig ist. Ein Infinitiv oder ein Gerund wären hier möglich, wobei ich den Infinitiv bei diesem Verb wählen würde.

It has been raining since yesterday and he has had a lot of time but he ( not, finish) yet. ???

Einen eigenen Versuch. Hinweis: yet weist zwar auf die Gegenwart hin, aber auch darauf, dass es um das Ergebnis einer Handlung geht.

He is very angry because he has been saving for a new mobile phone for five months and he doesn't want to spend the money on a new printer.

Hinter want muss ein Infitinitiv mit to folgen (oder ein echtes Substantiv).

Wenn zwei Handlungen gleichzeitig geschehen, dann steht die länger andauernde Handlung (die bei der das while steht in der Regel) im Continuous, die andere jedoch nicht.

Woran erkenne ich, dass eine Handlung hier länger dauerte? Wäre dann nicht das Signalwort „when“ für das Simple Past ?
