Did you ever question yourself: how much should education cost? In 2010, a member of the House of Lords recommended that caps on student fees should be removed. In Germany, universities charge usually no fees. But German universities have financial problems. Politicians try to displace researchers, as they are quite expensive. The politicans have in mind to improve the quality of teaching at the university, so that it attracts more students paying more fees. Many experts say that good education cannot exist without good research. In addition, there is a economic dimension of the problem: knowledge is the only good of Germany. In other words, good research is the base of economic growth and social developement. So what to do? Perhaps, institutes like Max-Planck-Gesellschaft and Frauenhofer-Gesellschaft might solve the problem.
I would like you to correct my mistakes, please. It is no homework.
