Brauche Hilfe bei wichtiger Hausaufgabe für mein Fachabi

Huhu bin ewig aus der Schule raus und mache gerade eine zweite Ausbildung zur Heilerziehungspflegerin. Nebenbei mache ich mein fachabi, aber Englisch ist bei mir schon sehr lange her. Vielleicht könnt ihr mir ja ein wenig helfen, habe sehr starke Probleme mit den Zeiten. Wäre schön etwas von euch zu lesen...

From Phil´s Diary


The text is from Phil´s diary. Phil is a boy and had an accident and now he sit in a wheelchair. In his Diary he whrite about his feelings and his accident.


One day, when he went home from his football training it was wet outside. He skidded and then a car crashed him.
Six weeks later his legs are still paralysed. The doctors said that he never coudn´t walk again. Phil is paralysed from the waist down. Now he sit in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.


The positive experiences is that Phil meet a lot of people with disabilities in the time when he was in the hospital. Many friends visited Phil an they sayed him sorry about his accident. One positive point he think is that he can go to a adventure holdiday in august. There he can do a lot of things , for example canoeing or climbing. The institution who he go on holiday have got loads of special equipment for disabled kids.


The negative experiences is that he couldn´t walk again. For the rest of his life he is sitting in a wheelchair. Phil couldn´t go in his old school because there are no ramps, no lift an disabled toilet facilities. New schools have ramps and lifts baut phil school is very old.
Phil think that it is ok to sit in a wheelchair but worse is that when he stopped from doing thinks. For Example, when he want to go in shops and he couldn´t go in because there is no ramp and a lot of steps. He is angry about people whose think he is stupid only he sit in a wheelchair. As he went with his mother shopping, the shop assistant spoke only with his mother and smiled him like he was a baby.


To my mind Phil can live with the accident. But in the future it can be hard for him, because it can be difficult to find his dream job. In my opinion it is difficult to find friends. He can´t play football in his future. In my view Phil can live alone in the future but he need a person who helps Phil in some situation. But i think he learns to live with his wheelchair. He is young and he can do a lot of thinks in his live.

Six weeks later, his legs were still paralysed. The doctors told him that he would never be able to walk again. Phil is paralysed from the waist down. Now he will have to use a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

Phil writes about both his positive and negative experiences during his time in hospital and later on. He certainly appreciates to have met a lot of people with disabilities in hospital. And many friends visited and comforted him. And he is looking forward to an adventure holdiday in August, where he will be able to do a lot of things like canoeing or climbing. The institution that organises the holidays has got loads of special equipment for disabled kids.


The negative experience is, of course, that he will never walk again. For the rest of his life he will be needing a wheelchair. He cannot go back to his old school, because there are neither ramps nor a lift or suitable toilet facilities. New schools have ramps and lifts baut Phil's school is very old.
Phil thinks that being dependent on a wheelchair could be alright if it did not stop him from doing things. For example, when he wants to go into shops and cannot do it because there is no ramp and a lot of steps. He is angry about people whose think he is stupid only because he is using a wheelchair. One day he was shopping with his mother and the shop assistant only addressed her and smiled at him as if he were a baby.


To my mind, Phil can live with the accident. But in sometimes his future life will be hard for him, because it could be difficult to find his dream job and maybe even friends. He will never play football again. I suppose that Phil will be able to live alone in the future but he will need some help in certain situations. But I think he will learn to live with his wheelchair. He is young and he can still do a lot of things in his life.

So, Tina, recht bunt ist es geworden. Erstmal zwei allgemeine Tipps, denn es geht ja nicht nur um die Hausarbeit, sondern möglichst auch ums Verstehen:

Achte auf das "s" am Ende der Verben in der dritten Person Einzahl (he, she, it) im Präsens!
Zukünftige Handlungen werden im Englischen so gut wie immer mit einer Futur-Zeitform beschrieben (Ausnahme Abfahrten und Ankünfte von Zügen, Flugzeugen usw.)

Danke schön Duckduck, hast mir wirklich sehr geholfen.

Habe es mir jetzt mal genau angeschaut und denke, dass ich noch ein wenig lernen muss. Aber das hatte ich sowieso vor Englisch kann man immer gut gebrauchen
