Wie werden Kurzformen und Langformen im will-future verwendet?

Im gesprochenen Englisch werden Hilfsverben häufig als Kurzformen verwendet. Da das will-future mit dem Hilfsverb will gebildet wird, treten hier Kurzformen sehr oft auf.

Das Hilfsverb will kann nur dann verkürzt werden, wenn danach der Infinitiv folgt.

Who will help me? – I will.

Hier kann das Hilfsverb will nicht verkürzt werden.
