After my graduation I went to university, where I didn't need to use my English skills.
Today, 7 years after leaving school, I feel like a beginner, because even when I try to speak about basic topics...
and this feels so bad.

Six months ago I started learning Spanish, and every book tells me other rules and translations for the same word.
I don't know what's right or wrong, and I think, it's the same in English.
I'd like to learn real English (and Spanish).
Therefore, I was looking for a forum where real people speak real English.
I think, this forum is better than a chatroom, where you don't unterstand most of the sentences, because the English used (with all those abbreviations, slang, etc.) is too informal.
So this was what brought me here... :)

I always find it very interesting to learn about other cultures and thus, to learn the respective language to communicate with people from other countries. English's world language, so knowing English enables you to almost all parts of the world.
Also, I'd like to see how other people learn English or another language in general (apart from their native tounge).
