Hi Leute,

bin ganz neu hier im Forum , also hi @ all .

Ja, ich wollt euch fragen ob ihr nicht eine gute Seite kennt, auf der man Vokabeln oder auch einfach Infos zum Topic "Media" (Sek II. 11 Klasse Thema) finden kann. Außerdem such ich noch ne Seite mit nützlichen Redewendungen für discussions im Englischen (z.B. meiner Meinung nach etc. .... ).
Wär cool wenn ihr mir helfen könntet (dringend bitte )

Also, eine gute Vokabelseite zum Thema Media kenne ich nicht, aber dafür habe ich nützliche "linking words" gefunden. Ich hoffe, du meinst solche mit "Redewendungen". Sie bieten dir in Aufsätzen usw. eine klangvolle Abwechslung und lassen das ganze einfach ein wenig "gekonnter" aussehen:

* To show similarity:

similarly, likewise, in a similar manner, like, in the same way, analogously

* To compare or show contrast:

The story Die Geschichte
The story is about two teenagers. Die Geschichte handelt von zwei Teenager.

The text is divided into 5 parts. Der Text ist in 5 Abschnitte unterteilt.
The characters Die Darsteller
The main characters are Peter and Mary. Die Hauptdarsteller sind Peter und Mary.
I think Peter is brave because he rescues Mary. Ich denke, dass Peter mutig ist, weil er Mary rettet.
In line 27 he says ... In Zeile 27 sagt er ...
In my opinion Mandy shouldn't have gone out alone. Meiner Meinung nach hätte Mandy nicht alleine ausgehen sollen.
The characters in the story change. Die Darsteller in der Geschichte verändern sich.
At first Peter is helpless. Later he becomes brave. Zuerst ist Peter hilflos. Dann wird er mutig.
Summarizing the text Den Text zusammenfassen
The main point is that Peter likes Mandy. Der Hauptpunkt ist, dass Peter Mandy mag.
The difficult thing is that Mandy doesn't see this. Die Schwierigkeit besteht darin, dass Mandy das nicht sieht.
The turning point in the story is when Mandy falls off the tree. Der Wendepunkt der Geschichte ist, als Mandy vom Baum fällt.
On the one hand Mandy likes Peter, on the other hand she doesn't like his friends. Einerseits mag Mandy Peter, andererseits mag sie seine Freunde nicht.
That's why ... Deshalb ...
My opinion Meine Meinung
I think that the story is nice. Ich denke, dass die Geschichte nett ist.
My point of view is that ... Mein Standpunkt ist, dass ...
My first impression was ... Mein erster Eindruck war ...
I like/don't like the story/poem/song. Ich mag die Geschichte/das Gedicht/das Lied.
I thought that the story would end like that. Ich dachte, dass die Geschichte so ausgeht.
The ending of the story didn't surprise me. Das Ende der Geschichte überraschte mich nicht.
I think that this only happens in films. Ich denke, dass das nur in Filmen passiert.
I must admit that ... Ich muss zugeben, dass ...
The message of the story is ... Die Botschaft ("Message") der Geschichte ist ...
