Satz korrekt?

Hi ich soll in einem Satz erklären wie eine Schere funktioniert. Bin mir aber nicht sicher ob der Satz so korrekt ist:

"In order to operate the scissors you’ll have to apply pressure on the handle, so that the pivoted metal blades slide against each other when the handles opposite to the pivot are closed."
