Does "von drei zu drei Tagen" below mean expressions like, "at three day intervals," "every three days" ?

I don't know this, but I've found some other examples of similar phrasing that I'm trying to make sense of right now.

So after looking at several examples I have come to the conclusion that it can mean either "in three day intervals" or "in the course of three days". The latter seems more likely in this case.
