Is "weltbeglükkender" a word or is the "kk" a typo?

Beitrag von edmont »

In the sentence below, is "weltbeglükkender" a word?  Or is the kk a typo? And is "weltbeglückender" what was intended?

And does "weltbeglückender programme" mean programs that makes the world happy?

Wie ein Kind nur durch die Sozietät sprechen lernt, so kann sich ein gesundes soziales Leben nur aus gemeinschaftlichen Entscheidungen heraus entfalten und nicht als Ergebnis weltbeglükkender Programme einzelner.

As a child only learns to speak through society, so a healthy social life can only develop out of collaborative decisions and not as a result of individuals' programs to make the world happy.

Thank you for any assistance.

Probably a typo. Unless the text was written before 1901.

Hi there!
Just a little addition for further use:
It might be a typo but it could also be a hyphenation of the word at the end of a line. The rule used to be that in that case "ck" became"kk".

tiorthan and Duckduk-
k, thank you both.

The text is from the 1980s and might be quoting from a 1919 lecture. Duckduk-
k is on the money here.  I guessed it might be a hyphenation rule, because the word was indeed hyphenated at that point.
