Game - Guess the movie

Hi, I think the best way to learn something is to play. Let's play on this thread a game named "guess my favorite movie". I try to tell the story the film is about and you have to figure out the name of the film.

The story begins with a young man who is sleeping in front of his computer. Suddenly he wakes up and on the display appears this text "knock, knock, wake up...."

I forgot to say: the one who guesses the film, has to introduce in view sentences or just a word the next film with his own words!

What happens if the person who replies doesn't guess the film? Should I then give further information?

If one within one or two days don't get no answer one should give more details but not to much to hold on the tension.

One man in this film has recently lost his wife, and his stepson is in love with a school mate, while another one loses his secret love to his best friend.

Can you guess it now   ? I'd accept the German title, too.

I hope it's wrong 'though, because I've already disclosed my favorite movies on another topic.   Maybe someone else likes to step in for me, if I guessed right?

You could describe any movie that you know, I don't think that it is necessary to describe your favourite film

I could be completely wrong, having never seen the film myself - only heard about it.
Might it have something to do with a big ship and a heart that will go on?

Hint: It's an old black white movie. The habit of the director is to play a little sequence of some seconds in his films.
