Wort "though"

Hallöchen,

kann mir jemand mal erklären wie ich das Wörtchen "though" verwende? Ich weiß, dass ich es mit "although" oder "nevertheless" gleichsetzen könnte, aber ich bin ständig verwirrt, wenn ich einen Satz lese mit "though".

Am Anfang macht es für Sinn oder an zweiter Stelle, aber was ist seine Bedeutung am Satzende?

z.B.

1. It's early research, though, and the technology needs to be developed further.

2. We'll still have to qualify this as a rumor, though.

Es bedeutet "jedoch" oder "allerdings" in deinen Beispielsätzen

Es ist jedoch noch wenig erforscht, und die Technologie muss noch weiter entwickelt werden.

"Wenig erforscht" ist keine wörtliche Übersetzung von "early research", sondern nur eine sinngemäße.

Wir müssen das allerdings noch immer als Gerücht einstufen.

Die Stellung im Satz (als Einschub oder am Satzende) resultiert aus der Funktion im Satz als Adverbiale. Auf die Bedeutung hat es keinen Einfluss.
